Solar and renewables hailed as good environmental news
Original: Finally some good news! # Environment # Renewables # Solar
Supporters of renewable energy are celebrating what they call rare good news for the environment, pointing to solar power. The claim is shared without specifics, so it is not clear whether it refers to new capacity figures, falling prices, or a particular project. The sentiment reflects broader enthusiasm about solar's growth in the global energy mix.
Why now: People are sharing optimism about solar and renewable energy progress at a time of otherwise worrying environmental news
