EuroLeague reportedly rejects NBA collaboration terms
Original: Report: EuroLeague rejects NBA’s collaboration terms
EuroLeague has turned down the NBA's proposed terms for a collaboration, according to a report by Field Level Media. The rejection means talks between Europe's top club basketball competition and the American league have stalled, leaving the future of any partnership between the two organisations uncertain.
Why now: The NBA has been seeking a foothold in European basketball, so a rejected deal with EuroLeague has major implications for the sport's global structure.
