Justice Department orders staff to use Trump's AI rebrand
Original: Justice Department tells employees to adopt Trump’s AI rebrand
The Justice Department has instructed its employees to adopt the Trump administration's preferred rebrand of artificial intelligence, according to NBC News. The directive means staff must use the administration's chosen terminology in official communications, reflecting a broader push to align federal agencies with the White House's framing of AI policy and language.
Why now: A federal agency mandating political terminology for AI raises concerns about politicisation of government language.
