Original: The investigations came after # FBI Director # KashPatel told top FBI leaders that # Trump “was angry about the incident

FBI Director Kash Patel told senior FBI leaders that President Trump was angry about an incident involving protesters and wanted them investigated and arrested, according to a letter cited in reporting. The investigations followed that directive. The reporting also references a whistleblower complaint by an FBI employee, Fields, describing two separate incidents connected to the matter. The claims raise questions about political interference in FBI casework.

Why now: Fresh reporting suggests the FBI opened investigations at Trump's personal direction, raising concerns about political interference.
