Marathon County to review leftover pandemic aid and highway bids
Original: Leftover pandemic aid, highway bids on Marathon County finance committee agenda
Marathon County's finance committee is set to take up two local matters: what to do with remaining federal pandemic relief funds and bids for highway construction work. The agenda item will determine how unspent American Rescue Plan money is allocated before spending deadlines, and which contractors win county road projects.
Why now: Local residents are watching how the county allocates remaining pandemic relief money before deadlines expire.
