Meme sarcastically denies Israel is an apartheid state
Original: not an apartheid tho #meme #memes #palestine #freepalestine #israel
An ironic meme circulating online mocks claims that Israel's treatment of Palestinians does not constitute apartheid, using the sarcastic framing 'not an apartheid though'. The content aligns with pro-Palestine commentary, alongside hashtags like #freepalestine, amid ongoing debate over Israel's policies in the occupied territories and disputes over whether they meet the legal definition of apartheid.
Why now: Ongoing debate over whether Israel's policies toward Palestinians amount to apartheid keeps sarcastic memes about the question circulating.
