Original: franca lehfeldt

Franca Lehfeldt, wife of German Finance Minister Christian Lindner, is making headlines with comments on returning to work shortly after giving birth. She told media that a woman who works is not a 'Rabenmutter' (bad mother) and that she must pay salaries in her business, defending her fast career comeback and reigniting German debate over working mothers.

Why now: Her remarks on balancing motherhood and career touch a sensitive, ongoing debate in Germany about working mothers.
