Original: Kansas City's stadium complex could become housing or F1 race circuit after sports teams leave

Kansas City's Truman Sports Complex, long home to the Chiefs and Royals, could be redeveloped into housing or a Formula 1 race circuit once both teams move to new stadiums in the coming years. Local officials and planners are weighing options for the site, with a possible F1 bid drawing particular attention.

Why now: Both Kansas City teams are preparing to leave their long-time shared complex, prompting debate over what should replace it.
