Walmart to anchor Terra's Doral retail development

Original: Walmart to anchor Terra’s Doral retail development with small-format store

Walmart will open a small-format store as the anchor tenant of Terra's retail development in Doral, Florida. The plan marks a shift from Walmart's typical big-box footprint, fitting a smaller store into an urban-style retail project in the Miami-area suburb. Details on timing, store size and additional tenants have not yet been disclosed.

Why now: Walmart's move into a small-format store in a high-growth South Florida retail project signals a notable shift in its real estate strategy.
