Pablo Torre examines NFL's handling of CTE research

Original: Pablo Torre: Debunking the NFL's CTE "Cover-Up" — with Brain Science https:// lemmy.world/post/52811869

Journalist Pablo Torre is drawing attention for a piece arguing the NFL downplayed or obscured evidence linking football to chronic traumatic encephalopathy, using brain science to challenge the league's position on head injuries. The item is circulating with minimal engagement, so little public reaction is visible yet, and the claims have not been independently assessed here.

Why now: Ongoing scrutiny of the NFL's history with concussions and CTE keeps the topic alive among football fans
