Original: Jessica Chastain Defends Calling Out Apple TV Over ‘The Savant’ Delay: ‘It’s Ok to Be Honest’
Jessica Chastain is standing by her public criticism of Apple TV over the stalled release of her thriller series 'The Savant', saying it is acceptable to be honest when a project's rollout is delayed. The actress's comments have drawn attention to the unresolved fate of the show and to the streaming platform's handling of its scheduling.
Why now: A major star publicly criticizing a major streamer over a shelved project is unusual and newsworthy.
