Fundraiser launched to support student Ahmed with food, housing, legal help
Original: We don't surrender. ⚡️ We didn't make it last week, and now we have a few days left to make it this week. Help student A
A community fundraising appeal is under way for Ahmed, a Palestinian student who needs help paying for food, housing and a lawyer. Organisers say last week's target was missed and are pushing to raise the remainder, 274 dollars of a 407-dollar goal, by Sunday under the message 'we don't surrender'. The appeal frames the student's hardship as part of wider policies affecting Palestinians.
Why now: Supporters are racing to close a missed fundraising target with only days left before the Sunday deadline.
