Butterfly Research Goes Beyond the Show at Carleton
Original: Beyond the Butterfly Show: Butterfly Research at Carleton
Carleton University is highlighting its butterfly research, moving attention past its well-known public Butterfly Show to the ongoing scientific work behind it. Researchers at the Ottawa institution study butterfly biology, behaviour and conservation, and the university is using the annual exhibit's popularity to draw interest to that broader research programme.
Why now: The university's annual Butterfly Show draws public attention, which it is channelling toward its research.
