The Emmy Awards are leaving broadcast television and moving to Amazon's Prime Video, according to a report from Gizmodo. It is the latest sign of major live entertainment events shifting from traditional networks to streaming platforms. The move is drawing attention as another milestone in the decline of broadcast TV's hold on flagship events and Amazon's growing grip on live programming.
