Saoirse Ronan responds to Jack Lowden Bond casting rumours

Original: jack lowden

Jack Lowden is the latest actor linked to the role of James Bond, and the speculation has now drawn a comment from his wife, Saoirse Ronan. The actress, who has said she would like to play a Bond villain, addressed the rumours about Lowden potentially taking over the 007 role from Daniel Craig. Coverage also notes that casting Bond is only one of several challenges facing the next film.

Why now: speculation is building about who will succeed Daniel Craig as James Bond, and Ronan's public remarks put Lowden at the centre of that conversation
