Flash fiction places pilot Katska in prison canteen

Original: Megafonía a las cinco. Blanco de prisión. Cientos de cuerpos en el mismo ruido. Katska elige una mesa intermedia y come

A short piece of Spanish-language flash fiction is circulating that imagines the character Katska stripped of her pilot status and imprisoned. Set in a loud canteen under the gaze of three officers, the scene depicts her choosing a middle table and eating in silence, described as no longer a pilot but 'a number. For now.' Readers of the serialized story are sharing the excerpt as it continues.

Why now: It is a new installment of an ongoing serialized fiction that its readers are actively sharing and discussing.
