Donations pour in from out of state for Ken Paxton
Original: Donations for Ken Paxton pour in from out of state
Ken Paxton, the Texas attorney general, is receiving a wave of campaign contributions from donors outside Texas, according to CNN. The out-of-state fundraising highlights his national profile among conservative supporters, even as his legal and political troubles at home continue to draw scrutiny in the state.
Why now: Paxton remains a polarising national figure in Republican politics amid ongoing legal and impeachment fallout, making his fundraising patterns newsworthy.
