Driver credits backup camera for sparing giant box elder bug
Original: Thank god for my car backup camera or else I would have run over this gigantic box elder bug this morning. # bugs # inse
A motorist says their car's backup camera revealed a gigantic box elder bug behind the vehicle, letting them avoid running it over while reversing in the morning. The lighthearted post has drawn small but genuine engagement, with readers amused by the idea of high-tech driver-assist gear being used to protect a common household insect rather than people or property.
Why now: The absurd charm of safety technology saving an insect's life is making people smile and share.
