French cultural venues rally around regional arts network
Original: @ cercle 2/2 - L'Épicentre, atelier de musique contemporaine à Jarnages, en Creuse @ epicentre - Ciné Mistral, cinéma it
A French cultural network post highlights independent venues across rural France: L'Épicentre, a contemporary music workshop in Jarnages in the Creuse, the Ciné Mistral travelling cinema serving rural areas of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, and the La Passerelle theatre, a national stage in Gap in the Southern Alps. The roundup draws attention to small organisations sustaining arts and cinema outside major cities.
Why now: Rural cultural venues and their funding or visibility are a live concern in France's arts community.
