Original: geran-4
Ukrainian military intelligence reports that Russia's Geran-4 attack drone has been upgraded with a new Russian-made engine and an improved navigation system, according to a report by the Ukrainian outlet Military. The modifications would make the drone faster and harder to jam, extending its range and accuracy in strikes on Ukrainian territory.
Why now: New upgrades to Russia's most used long-range attack drone directly affect Ukrainian air defence concerns.
