Critics accuse UN and Guterres of complicity over Netanyahu invitation
Original: The UN & Guterres's complicity with Israel's crimes Interview: Inviting Netanyahu to UNGA is "global cowardice & complic
An interview circulating online accuses UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and the organisation of complicity in Israel's conduct in Gaza, calling the invitation of Benjamin Netanyahu to address the UN General Assembly an act of "global cowardice". The speaker argues Netanyahu was welcomed "on the red carpet" at UN headquarters while directing what they describe as genocide in Palestine. The claims are contested and reflect a sharply critical view of the UN's handling of the war.
