Starlink launches shared internet beta for local hosts
Starlink, SpaceX's satellite internet service, has started a beta program allowing local hosts to share their internet connection with others. Details about pricing, coverage, and how the shared model will work remain limited, but the move suggests the company is exploring community-based distribution of its satellite broadband service beyond individual household subscriptions.
Why now: Starlink's move into shared internet could change how people access satellite broadband in underserved areas
