A long-exposure photograph of a rocket lifting off from mountainous terrain has drawn attention for revealing the vehicle's curved trajectory in a single image. The arc illustrates the parabolic path required to reach orbit and insert a payload, showing aerospace engineering in visual form. Commenters are praising the image as an accessible way to understand orbital mechanics and the precision behind rocket launches.

Why now: The striking visual of a launch trajectory is being shared and admired for making orbital mechanics visible in one photograph.
