Russian remake of 'The Tale of Lost Time' set for 2026
Original: ремейк
A remake of the Soviet classic 'The Tale of Lost Time' is in production, with a release planned for 2026. Russian film outlet Kino Mail reports the release date and where the film was shot. Details about the cast and plot remain scarce, and audiences are already weighing in on whether a new version is needed.
Why now: Nostalgia for the Soviet classic mixed with skepticism about remakes is driving discussion of the announced 2026 film.
