"Antivirus Survivors 2003 Professional" hailed as best bluescreen ever
Original: „Antivirus Survivors 2003 Professional“: Bester Bluescreen aller Zeiten Auch an furchtbare Dinge erinnert man sich gern.
The German tech outlet heise has reviewed "Antivirus Survivors 2003 Professional", an arcade game styled as a fictional 2003 antivirus program. Reviewers say its crashing Windows parody, complete with the era's dreaded blue screen, is not only a good joke but a surprisingly solid game, with nostalgic fondness for the chaotic software of the early 2000s.
Why now: Nostalgia for early-2000s Windows crashes combined with an unexpected well-reviewed game concept is drawing attention.
