A film fan has posted a lukewarm two-and-a-half-star review of Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City (2021), the live-action adaptation of the Capcom game series directed by Johannes Roberts. The middling rating reflects a common verdict on the reboot, which divided critics and audiences with its attempt to condense the first two games' stories into one film. It is being shared as part of Halloween-season horror viewing.
Why now: Viewers are revisiting the film for Halloween-season horror watching and sharing their takes on it.
