South African pastor warns the world may end this week
Original: конец света
A pastor from South Africa has warned that the end of the world could come on October 12–13, according to a report by Rosbalt. The prediction is circulating widely online, with Russian-speaking audiences picking up the story and debating whether the claim should be taken seriously or dismissed as another failed doomsday forecast.
Why now: A specific near-term doomsday date is drawing attention and mockery alike as the predicted days approach.
