New Ape Escape Reportedly in Development at Sonic Mania Team

The report, carried by IGN, suggests a long-dormant Sony platforming franchise may be getting a revival handled by an outside team rather than an internal PlayStation studio. No official announcement, release window, or platforms have been confirmed so far, and fans are awaiting word from Sony or the developers involved.
