Trump suggests letting Iran 'take out' Los Angeles and San Diego
Original: Pres. Trump suggests letting Iran ‘take out’ Los Angeles and San Diego at campaign event
At a campaign event, President Trump suggested the idea of letting Iran 'take out' the California cities of Los Angeles and San Diego, according to ABC7 coverage. The remark, invoking the prospect of a nuclear strike against major American cities, drew wide attention and criticism, with many questioning the judgment and seriousness of discussing an attack on US soil in such terms.
Why now: The sitting president's casual suggestion about a hostile power attacking major US cities is shocking and politically explosive.
