Illustrated House Drawing Becomes a Smart Home Dashboard
Original: I hired an illustrator to draw my house. Now it's my Home Assistant dashboard
A smart home enthusiast commissioned an illustrator to draw his house, then turned the custom artwork into the main dashboard for his Home Assistant setup. The illustrated rooms serve as an interactive control panel for the home's devices. The idea is drawing attention for making home automation controls feel more personal and visually appealing than standard grid-style interfaces.
Why now: People are sharing a creative alternative to conventional smart home dashboards that combines custom art with practical home automation.
