British Boxing Biopic 'In the Shadows' to Self-Release

Original: ‘In the Shadows’ Producers to Self-Release British Boxing Biopic Following Collapse of U.K. Distributor True Brit Entertainment (EXCLUSIVE)

The producers of 'In the Shadows', a British boxing biopic, will self-release the film after UK distributor True Brit Entertainment collapsed. With no distributor in place, the filmmakers are taking the unusual step of handling the release themselves to get the biopic in front of audiences rather than shelving it.

Why now: The collapse of UK distributor True Brit Entertainment has left the film without a release partner, making the self-release move newsworthy.
