Toddler devastated to learn firefighters don't shoot fire
Original: The 3YO is devastated having been informed that, no, firefighters do not shoot fire like firebenders # parenting
A parent shared that their three-year-old was heartbroken to discover firefighters cannot shoot fire the way firebenders do in the animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender. The story is drawing amused, sympathetic reactions from other parents, who recognize the familiar experience of gently debunking a small child's cartoon-inspired expectations about the real world.
Why now: Parents find it funny and relatable when young children confuse cartoon abilities with real-life jobs.
