Ukrainian forces struck Russia's Seshcha airfield along with multiple drone, radar, electronic warfare, command, and logistics sites on October 6 and overnight into October 7. The attacks targeted military infrastructure deep in Russian territory, continuing Kyiv's campaign against airbases and support facilities used in the war. Updates on damage and Russian response are being tracked by war watchers.
Why now: A fresh overnight Ukrainian strike on Russian military targets, including a key airfield, is drawing attention to the escalating long-range exchange.
