Nakamura Riisa Turns Heads With Sister Runway and TV Moment

Original: 仲里依紗

Japanese actress Nakamura Riisa, 37, walked a runway in Shibuya with her younger sister Reina, fulfilling a dream she says she has held since her teens and celebrating on her birthday. She is also drawing attention online after a TV exchange in which co-star Matsuoka Mayu asked if she could one-up her, prompting Nakamura to respond with loud applause; some viewers criticized the scene.

Why now: Two new stories about the actress, a birthday runway appearance and a debated TV exchange, both broke around the same time.
