Indie blogger urges readers to skip algorithmic feeds
Original: Why are you reading yet more algorithmic slop when you could be supporting an indie # blogger by reading this post? I do
An independent blogger is asking readers to step away from algorithm-driven feeds and read personal blogs instead, arguing that indie writing is free, ad-free and free of distractions. The plea, shared on Mastodon, frames supporting independent bloggers as an alternative to consuming low-quality algorithmic content, and has drawn small but positive engagement.
Why now: Ongoing debate about algorithmic feeds and the value of supporting independent web publishing
