Jimmy Kimmel criticised Donald Trump on his late-night show after the president joked about Iran bombing Los Angeles, calling it 'our own president wishing death to America'. The remarks add to ongoing friction between Trump and late-night television hosts, with comedians including Seth Meyers also weighing in on the president's rhetoric in their monologues.
Why now: The clash between Trump and late-night hosts continues to draw attention, and a president joking about an attack on an American city struck a nerve.
