Microsoft to drop OneDrive support for older iPhones
Original: OneDrive: Microsoft killt App demnächst für ältere iPhones Microsoft will künftig nur noch Geräte mit iOS 26 oder höher
Microsoft has announced that its OneDrive app will soon require iOS 26 or newer, ending support for older iPhones. According to German tech outlet Heise, the move leaves three iPhone models without support for the cloud storage service, forcing users with older devices to keep outdated versions of the app or lose access. The decision follows Apple's latest iOS release and is typical of app developers tightening minimum system requirements each year.
Why now: Owners of the affected older iPhone models are reacting to losing OneDrive support after the iOS 26 rollout.
