Living with parents at 24 common in Sint-Michielsgestel
Original: epe
Regional daily Brabants Dagblad reports that in the North Brabant municipality of Sint-Michielsgestel, it is not unusual for people to still live with their parents at age 24. The observation has struck a chord as discussions continue in the Netherlands about young adults staying at home longer due to the tight housing market and high rents.
Why now: It feeds into the wider Dutch debate about young people living with parents longer because of the housing shortage.
