A senior Nepali police officer, an AIG, has reportedly lost his position following an enforcement action linked to Sudan, with commentators pointing to possible connections with Cholendra Shumsher JB Rana and Bansi Raj. The move is being widely debated in Nepal, with questions raised over whether the officer was punished for political reasons and what role court or government figures may have played in the decision.
