Robot Cameras Are Becoming Part of the AI Training Loop
Original: The Robot Camera Is Becoming Part of the AI Training Loop
The robotics industry is moving toward using cameras mounted on robots not just for navigation, but as active sources of data that feed directly back into AI training. The Association for Advancing Automation highlights this shift, in which robots continuously capture visual data from real work environments, improving the models that control them and closing the loop between perception, action and learning.
Why now: Growing industry interest in embodied AI and robots that learn continuously from their own sensor data.
