The advocacy group Stand Up For Science has published a new report titled "Forging the Future of Science and Democracy." The report links the defence of scientific research to the health of democratic institutions, arguing the two depend on each other. The release is being shared and discussed among science policy observers online.
Why now: Concerns about political pressure on science and democratic institutions have made the report's release timely.
