Netanyahu reportedly warned before October 7 attack
Original: Netanyahu reportedly warned before October 7
Claims are circulating that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu received warnings ahead of the October 7 Hamas-led attack that killed around 1,200 people in Israel. Critics say the reports raise serious questions about intelligence failures and political responsibility, while supporters have pushed back on the characterisation. The issue remains central to Israeli public debate over accountability for the security lapses.
Why now: New reports about prior warnings to Netanyahu have reignited debate over accountability for the October 7 intelligence failure.
