Primoz Roglic wins European time trial title as retirement talk grows
Original: primož roglič
Primoz Roglic, nearly 37, won the European Championship time trial in his home country of Slovenia, saying afterwards he had a broken radio and relied only on his own sensations during the ride. Davide Frigo finished seventh. Roglic also said 'it's possible' that Il Lombardia will be the final race of his career, fuelling speculation about when the Slovenian star will retire.
Why now: He just won the European time trial title on home soil while hinting his career may end at Il Lombardia.
