No new Ghostty updates since March

Discussion is growing around Ghostty, the terminal emulator created by Mitchell Hashimoto, after users noticed no new tagged releases since March 2025. On GitHub's release tags page, the last published version still dates from early spring, leading developers to wonder whether the project is slowing down, in a long development phase, or shifting to a different release model.

Why now: A popular open-source terminal emulator has gone months without a release, prompting concern or curiosity about the project's status
