The mid-1990s case of Mary Kay Letourneau, a 33-year-old teacher at Shorewood Elementary School in Washington state, is being recounted again. Letourneau, who was married with four children, became the subject of an investigation in 1996 over her relationship with a 12-year-old student, one of the most notorious teacher-student cases in recent American history.
