Counties Gain Cooperative Procurement Option for Amazon Business
Counties now have access to a cooperative procurement option for purchasing through Amazon Business, allowing local governments to buy goods and services through an existing cooperative contract rather than running their own bidding processes. The arrangement could simplify purchasing for county governments and speed up access to office supplies, equipment and other goods commonly sourced through the platform.
Why now: Local government officials are interested in new procurement tools that reduce administrative costs and streamline county purchasing.
