Parcoursup rejections leave French students scrambling for options
Original: parcoursup
Parcoursup, France's centralised university admissions platform, is back in the spotlight. An open letter addressed to high school students calling for the system to be scrapped is circulating, while local press reports on young people rejected from all their chosen courses, describing the difficulty of watching peers start the academic year while they search for an alternative path.
Why now: Admissions results season has left rejected students and critics of the platform voicing frustration publicly.
