Jon Rahm says he won't be part of the next LIV Golf
Original: Jon Rahm says he won't be part of the next version of LIV Golf
Golfer Jon Rahm says he will not take part in the next version of LIV Golf, the Saudi-backed circuit. The announcement came via news reports on Wednesday and immediately raised questions about the future shape of the league and Rahm's own playing schedule. There is no further detail yet on his reasons or on what the reworked LIV Golf format will look like.
Why now: Rahm was one of LIV Golf's marquee signings, so news of his exit from a revamped version has major implications for the league.
