ACAB slogans spark debate on French airwaves

Original: acab

Debate over the slogan ACAB is drawing attention in France after commentators on RMC clashed over its use at demonstrations. Juliette Briens criticised the mixing of slogans such as 'ACAB' and 'F*ck la police' with Palestinian flags, calling it an amalgam, while Benjamin Amar hit back that discontent with the government should be voiced to the government itself. The exchange reflects wider tensions over protest language and policing.

Why now: The slogan is being hotly debated in connection with current protests in France and is also trending in the US.
