AMC theater in Crawfordsville to close permanently over mold
Original: AMC movie theater in Crawfordsville to permanently close after health department finds ‘visible mold blooms’ inside it
An AMC movie theater in Crawfordsville, Indiana will permanently close after the local health department discovered 'visible mold blooms' inside the building. Inspectors found the mold during an examination of the premises, leading to the decision to shut the location for good. The closure removes a main cinema option for residents of the small Indiana city, and local coverage is focused on the health concerns raised by the inspection findings.
Why now: The sudden permanent closure of a local cinema over health-code findings is surprising and affects the community directly.
